Position: Marketing and Communication - Senior Manager

Location: PAN - India

Accountable for: Planning and Delivering all TRRAIN Companies communication and marketing strategy, Managing Brand Identity, Web and Social Media and Engagement

Education Qualifications: Graduate/ Post Graduation in Marketing, Communication, and BMM, BMS, BBA.

Work Experience: 6-8 years

Background:

TRRAIN- Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India is a public charitable trust formed in 2011 by Mr. B. S. Nagesh, with the vision of Empowering People in Retail and works to achieve immediate and lasting change in the lives of retail associates in India. We are solely committed to upgrading the lives of people in retail, both at work and at home. TRRAIN has undertaken various initiatives to enable retail associates to upgrade their skills through TRRAIN Education Program and build pride and dignity through the TRRAIN Retail Awards and Retail Employees Day. TRRAIN's initiative on building inclusive retail workforce by training and Employing People with Disabilities in Retail roles has received tremendous support from the industry.

Job Purpose:

- To develop and implement the company communications strategy in accordance with the marketing plan.

- To engage the users using TRRAIN Circle App.

- Creating awareness of TRRAIN and marketing TRRAIN Projects. Promoting TRRAIN programs like education & skilling (able & disabled), Retail Employees Day, TRRAIN Retail Awards, TRRAIN Circle, Social Security Programs and all new initiatives including Fundraising activities.

The scope of the Position:

- The focus of the role combines marketing and business development rooted in an energetic approach to community building, partnerships and facilitating growth.

- Responsible for developing, maintaining & executing marketing strategies to meet the organizational objectives.

- Evaluates industry data & environment, customer/member's research, and implements marketing plan as needed.

- Oversees all marketing, advertising, and promotional events & activities.

- Meets & networks with the retail industry at all levels.

- Conceptualizing & Executing various TRRAIN Initiatives.

Specific Responsibilities:

Marketing of the TRUST:

- The Marketing and Communications Manager will lead on strategic communications, planning, and delivery.

- Co-ordination with research agencies, creative agency, event agency, social & digital media agency, PR, Website Management to ensure that deliverables are achieved

- Execution of all plans based on strategies created for the year

- Will be part of the strategic decisions related to all of the above

- Will be the brand custodian in the organization

- Manage membership/ loyalty programs of the Trust & its affiliates

- Tie up with external agencies or partners to deliver the marketing objectives

- Develop and deliver the communications strategy and action plan

- Delivers measurable and targeted promotional campaigns for IOU projects

- Raises the company's profile with partners and networks, and meets the requirements of sponsors and funders

- Grows, understand and embeds audience development work

- Supports income generation strategy

- Event Design, Planning, and Execution of all events created by the trust

- Coordinating with the Creative agency, social & digital media agency, Event Management company, Media, and PR partners

- Sponsorships for various events organized by the Trust

- Will need to make presentations to potential sponsors, follow-ups as well as close deals on behalf of the Trust for its various events

- On the fundraising & sponsorship targets

- Research programs to be developed and executed

- Will be involved in the design process for the research, identification of research agencies as well as execution and analysis on an ongoing basis

- Working on Social Media plans and activating the same at all levels

- Activation of the trust in other areas especially for Education & Livelihood programs

- In co-ordination with implementing agencies / NGOs/ Retailers etc

Key Skills and Competencies:

- Analytical Skills: Marketing specialists look at many streams of data to determine the demographics and buying trends of current and potential customers. Understanding this data will be critical to the job.

- Communication: When gathering and presenting information, marketing specialists need to be able to talk and listen well.

- Critical-Thinking: Being able to process the data in a way to make recommendations takes critical thinking.

- Extremely good understanding of Digital/ Web/ Social Media

- Attention to Detail: Analyzing data to show trends takes precision.
