Overall Responsibility :

To develop and ensure the implementation of overall sustainability strategies of the company. This would usually relate to the economic, environmental and social impacts of every aspect of the work being carried out, to ensure that the company adheres to the most economically and environmentally friendly methods possible, creating a positive social impact.

1) Set up the Sustainability Function with proper organization structure, competent people, clearly articulated objectives and goals for the Dept..

2) Map the entire business process and conduct sustainability related risk assessments.

3) Develop or implement overall sustainability strategies for the Company.

4) Develop and execute plans to address issues such as energy use, resource conservation, recycling, pollution reduction, waste elimination, cost reduction employee & social welfare etc.

5) Identify educational, training, or other development opportunities for employees of Sustainability Function

6) Supervise employees or volunteers working on sustainability projects.

7) Research sustainability issues, concerns, or stakeholder interests and convert them to projects.

8) Evaluate and execute proposals for sustainability projects, considering factors such as cost effectiveness, technical feasibility, and integration with other initiatives.

9) Evaluate all CAPEX & Revenue proposals from sustainability point of view and guide the Management.

10) Write project proposals and applications, or other documents to pursue funding for environmental initiatives.

11) Review sustainability program objectives, progress, or status to ensure compliance with policies, standards, regulations, or laws.

12) Develop sustainability reports, presentations, or proposals for suppliers, customers, government, and other stakeholder groups.

13) Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of sustainability programs.

14) Direct sustainability program operations to ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and government regulations.
