Role Brief

You would be on a mission critical role to own and grow the people and revenue matrix for our holiday experience business. Along with responsibility for improving Customer Experience, driving implementation of internal business initiatives, and improving process efficiencies.

Responsibility :

People Management

- Lead and Mentor a team of over Set targets, performance plans and objective standards for travel sales experts.

- Delivers deep performance reviews for each individual expert once or twice per year.

- Participates in spontaneous sales call process & develop a scalable sales process and ensure that expert adheres to it correctly.

- Coach and mentor individual sales expert one-on-one through prospective help sessions to help them improve sales performance.

- Recruit, select, onboard & train new sales experts.

- Motivate & engage the sales team with motivational tactics, such as sales contests, incentive packages & public recognition.

Customer Relationship Management

- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences.

- Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service.

- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.

- Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.

- Respond to and follow up sales inquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits to customers.

Planning and Reporting

- Determine and assign sales targets, sales goals, projects and forecast annual and quarterly revenue and for one or more sales destinations.

- Develop sales strategies to acquire new customers or clients.

- Track sales team performance and share them with company leadership.

- Analyze sales data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps.

- Collaborate with marketing executives to develop lead generation plans.

- Manage the external marketing agency activities of telemarketing and research.

- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.

Strategic Destination Development

- Lead the development and execution of overall market business plans, and ensure Tripfactory has a long-term business strategy to deepen our position in the assigned market/territory.

- Responsible for the planning, performance and service delivery of Tripfactory across the defined destination.

- Accountable for multiple business and conversion matrix for the destination business.

- Work directly with the Commercial team to increase conversion rates and revenue in destinations. Relationship, Contract and pricing

- Secure and maintain attractive rates and inventory across destination product offerings.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

- 3 to 7 years- experience as a business manager or relevant managerial role

- Experience in managing team size of 50 + sales people.

- Proven experience with business and strategy development processes.

- Superior leadership skills, with a focus in employee coaching and development.

- Prior industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of relevant trends.

- Enjoys solving complex system problems while training and possesses strong analytical and organizational skills.

- Strong capabilities with database and information systems software.

- Ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively.

- Travel industry experience has an added advantage.
