Role & Responsibilities:

TresVista is looking to hire an Associate in the CFO Support department who will lead and manage a team of Analysts and Senior

Analysts to service client deliverables and internal projects. An Associate will be primarily responsible for project scoping, ensuring deliverable quality as per client expectations, deadline management, stakeholder engagement, analyst training, and overall team growth.

Key Role Deliverables:

- Analyzing and spreading the financial statements in the client database

- Understand the correlation between 3 financial statements to identify inconsistencies while capturing or tagging line items

- Read and interpret information from accompanying notes/schedule for a deeper understanding of financial metric

- Understand the company's capital structure, debt details and identify related metrics and covenants of debt issued

- Able to differentiate and explain the terminologies associated with financial statements (e.g., Proforma Statement, Adjusted v/s Reported EBITDA, Carrying value of Debt, Interest Spread, Coupon, etc.)

- Ensuring quality and accuracy of data

- Maximise team productivity and ensure communication guidelines and timelines (TAT's) are adhered

- Able to remediate project-related escalation by assigning the right resources and providing quality review

- Demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to changes in the market. Challenge existing processes and mindset and display imagination and thoughtfulness to bring innovation

Operational Responsibilities:

- Solve analyst doubts, and quality check the data captured in the database

- Display a detailed understanding of the company's financial statements from multiple sectors

- Guide the analyst in comprehending and normalizing exceptional/unique line items for the correct presentation of reported numbers

- Ability to read and understand legal language associated with credit agreements, compliance certificates

- Think logically to represent company specific or tagging of unique line items correctly

- Basic understanding of valuation multiples and relevance

- Coach analysts to develop their logical thinking, concept clarity, and ability to interpret financial data

- Pro-actively managing relationships, performance, and service levels with stakeholders

Team Management:

- Goal setting and performance review of direct reports. Able to deliver timely and document balanced performance feedback

- Leverage automation tools to increase the value proposition of the process and people

- Identify on the job training needs and provide training, coaching, and mentoring where appropriate

- Recruiting and retaining the highest quality talent into the team - Instituting knowledge sharing / best practice sharing forums

Prerequisites:

- Proficient with the English language and excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Sound knowledge of accounting concepts; well versed with financial terms

- Experienced in financial statement analysis

- Perform detailed quality checks to ensure 100% quality and compliance with guidelines and operating policies

- Thrives to work in challenging environment and has flexible mindset and adaptability to manage client deadlines

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of working experience (preferably finance experience)

Education:

MBA with finance specialization
