Overview :

TresVista is looking to hire an AVP - Data Engineering in its Data Intelligence Group, primarily responsible for project execution for the clients and internal teams. The AVP would also be guiding a few associates and analysts with best practices and technical difficulties.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Collaborates with Business Analysts to understand requirements and uses analytical tools to create a data pipeline to provide actionable insights into financial management, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics

- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, where necessary supporting the redesign of infrastructure for greater scalability

- Develops sophisticated & innovative analytical solutions and actionable insights for the stakeholder

- Acquires data from multiple sources to convert it in a specified format to be stored in a database for insight generation

- Supports creation of Coding Best Practices, Software Product Training Materials, Software Product User Guides, and Software Product Deployment Instructions

- Fixes software defects/bugs, measures and analyses code for quality

People Management:

- Supports the development of an environment where people management and development are a priority, along with training and mentoring new/junior members in the team

- Actively supports the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture

- Acts as a role model for new employees, providing help and support to facilitate early integration and assimilation of their new environment

Technical Skills:

- Hands-on experience on ETL (Python/Spark/R) and Data Warehouse experience MySQL/SQL Server

- Extensive hands-on experience in Data Science and NLP using Python

- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile - Development and activities like Performance tuning / Optimization

- Experience with modern SDLC tools - Git/Bit Bucket, JIRA/Trello is a plus

- Experience with visualization tools - Tableau/Power BI/Qlik is a plus

- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex enterprise applications

- Proficient Communication Skills, High Quantitative ability, and Analytical skills

- A good understanding of Cloud Platform (AWS/Azure) as a service offering will be an advantage

Experience Required :

- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Software Development

- Bachelors/Master's degree from Tier-1 colleges would be preferable

Qualification Required

- BE (Computer Science or IT)/ BCA

Compensation

- The compensation structure will be as per industry standards
