Trell - Head - Operations - Logistics Services

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Centrally managing operations for the in house fulfilment of products and owning the operational SLA and control tower

- Handling the entire Warehouse Management piece - commercial, product & Operations part while also managing continuous WMS process improvement, SOP formulation and Quality adherence across warehouses.

- Charting out the strategy for capacity planning and expansion with existing warehouse for ensuring adherence of Operational SOP, Personnel Policies and all the statutory/legal compliances in Fulfilment Operations

- Innovating to improve customer experience and continuously removing cost from the firm's fulfilment network.

- Working across teams alongside sales, product, operations, technology and marketing to be able to capture feedback and share information and knowledge on the features and product value.

- Some basic KPIs would include continually bettering the dispatch to delivery time, Improving Delivery NPS, Cost per order, return and RTO management etc. and onboarding new courier partners. The person will be the interface for the delivery customer experience and should be able to resolve any arising issues within a defined TAT.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Young & dynamic individual with Masters from Top B Schools with 5+ yrs of experience in Program Or Project management in Internet/Ecommerce marketplace

- Prior experience of working in a scaled ecommerce marketplace managing the entire Supply chain and Fulfilment process while managing a team

- Should have lead ecommerce warehousing operations ( Flipkart, Amazon etc ) for large scale set-up ( Orders above ~20k-30k/day from one warehouse and overall above 100k orders/day)

- Proven experience in scaling fulfilment and logistics operations and product in the ecommerce space

- Strong understanding of technology and process around WMS, LMS, warehouse automation, demand and inventory planning etc.

- Ability to innovate to solve complex business problems with automation and tech solutions

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence to serve as the company's spokesperson

- Excellent communication skills both reading and writing with good problem solving skills.

- Strong analytical aptitude in problem solving, multi tasker, critical thinker and a tactical executioner with a proven track record of finding solutions to business problems.
