Job Description
As a Business Analyst, you will be working in the analytics team to identify potential strategic and optimization opportunities through deep diving into business and product data. You will work on developing automated dashboards, visualizations and custom datasets. You will leverage the cross-functional nature of your role to develop insights that can produce meaningful advantages and growth opportunities for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define product, operations and marketing problems and identify right metrics, lead and lag indicators and provide actionable insights
- Create various analysis for error handling in existing data products
- Own the analysis and reporting for all the things data within the organization across all the business functions
- Collaborate with various functions and gather requirements and convert them into working models for the team
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership and help in strategic business planning
- Work closely with Product, Marketing and operations to improve funnel conversion.
- Develop metrics and reports that can be used to drive data driven decisions
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of data mining techniques like time series forecasting, regression, classification and clustering techniques
- Outstanding understanding of statistics and probabilistic methods
- Experience of analytical environments and tools for both structured and unstructured data
- Proficient knowledge on statistical tools like SQL, Advanced Excel and knowledge of R/Python.
- Experience in database management and data modelling is preferred
