Assistant Category Manager - Beauty and Personal Care at Trell Experiences Pvt Ltd - Bengaluru


About the Role:


This role will be responsible for offline category management and will require partnering with and managing multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. The focus of this role will be to align various business functions to the overall objectives by being the voice of business in all discussions. This role will also ensure that all Key Metrics are being executed upon, tracked and monitored as well as reported to all stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Growth: Drive marketplace growth of the assigned category in line with the business strategy, keeping in mind the quality of the network both on the buyer and seller sides. The responsibility is to have a user bias and should strive to improve the overall interaction experience of all external stakeholders.

- Bias for Action: Own the processes and ensure all teams are aligned and adhering to the set SOPs. It requires end to end ownership of the allocated responsibility.

- Data Driven: Demonstrated experience in handling large complex sets of data, analyze it and identify trends.

- Inventory Planning: Understanding and predicting the seasonal demand and ensuring the availability of the products across all seasons. This will require an understanding of the geographical, seasonal and various other factors that influence demand and ensuring that the right assortment of products is available. Will also be the owner of inventory metrics - Inventory Levels, Order to Dispatch, Ageing, Cancelations.

- Partner Management: Ensuring strong relationships with key accounts across the organizations Buyers, Seller and Brand network.

- Marketing Campaigns: Planning and creation of Marketing calendar, aligning internal/ external teams on the campaign execution.

Requirements:

- Proven working experience of minimum 2 years in Category Management.

- Should have experience in Beauty and Personal Care category.

- Drive for result, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative to established targets and metrics

- Strong bias for action, problem-solving and ownership

- Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and be a team player

- Exposure to the start up environment is an added advantage.
