Tredence - Senior Manager - Presales - CPG (12-16 yrs)
Managing The Day-To-Day consulting and solutioning:
- Work on industry & company research to offer the right solutions to different CPG customer problems or opportunities
- Develop pointed solutions for customers requirements by understanding the problem, the data sources, the tech landscape and the maturity
- Be part of and lead different customer conversations to present the solutions
- Work on solution proposal and roadmaps for customers
- Work with the sales team to develop campaigns for different solutions
Develop new solutions to match industry requirements:
- Create new or continuously enhance solutions & analytical frameworks; work towards creating reusable standardized offerings in the form of accelerators or products
- Manage cross-functional brainstorm workshops and engagements for creating new solutions & products
- Provide inputs in shaping the strategy for the CPG vertical in terms of new and enhanced offerings
Lead Pre-Sales and collaborate closely with Demand Generation:
- Lead a small team of Pre-sales professionals working closely on new customer acquisition and help mining existing accounts
- Understand the sales cycle from Demand Generation Pre-Sales Pitch Proposal Conversion
- Thoroughly understand the offerings and work on creating marketing content for solutions to develop the right messaging and bring new customer conversations
- Understand various sales channels and help in pushing the sales conversations through the sales funnel by creating appropriate sales / solution material
- Set up Sales-Ops process relevant to pre-sales
Develop thought leadership content:
- Develop thought leadership content in the form of white papers, point of views, articles, blogs etc,.
- Participate in industry webinars, podcasts and other discussions to position the thought leadership
Develop team capabilities:
- Leading a team in a ad-hoc sales led environment
- Be the coach and guide to the team to develop Consulting and Solutioning capabilities
- Identify programs and assets that can help enhance the capabilities
- Identify and work with partners who can continuously help bring new capabilities around data, technology and people
Qualification & Experience:
- BE / BTech or other equivalent bachelors degree, +MBA would be preferred
- 12+ years of relevant Pre-sales / Consulting experience in CPG Analytics
- Should have hands on experience and wider exposure in various CPG analytics solutions across functions including - Commercial / Revenue Growth Management, Sales Effectiveness, Route-to-Market, Marketing Analytics, Supply Chain & Procurement, Finance Analytics
- Should have worked with customers or companies operating in the developed markets especially in North America & Europe
- Delivery experience delivering solutions like - Market Mix Modeling, Revenue Growth Management, Consumer Analytics & Insights, Demand / Sales Forecasting, Pricing Analytics, Promotion Optimization
- Experience in statistical techniques such as Regression, Clustering & Time Series Forecasting, AB Testing, Optimization etc,.
- Has a Consulting mindset and should have done consulting / solutioning for various CPG business problems translating to analytics solutions
- Understand various datasets leveraged to develop CPG relevant analytics solutions
- Is an excellent problem solver, can define clear problem statements, identify the right solutions, can develop new analytics / functional frameworks,
- Good knowledge of various technologies involved in data and analytics
- Strong understanding of data infrastructure, data warehouse, or data engineering
- Has worked on tools and technologies like - SQL, Python, SAS, R, PowerBI, Tableau
- Exposure to one of more cloud platforms delivering analytics solutions
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Should have managed medium sized teams
- Has worked collaboratively across different business groups within the organization
- Can develop thought leadership content - white papers, point of views, frameworks
- Extremely research oriented, is aware of the industry trends
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
