Job Description:


Educational qualification:

- Chartered Accountant or MBA (finance).

Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience in- Treasury- functions.

- Senior bank executives are preferrable.

Summary Of The Overall Job:


- The candidate should be experienced in handling Treasury- functions and should possess the following knowledge / Skills.

Cash Management: Oversee cash flow.

- Ensure availability of funds to meet the organization's debt obligations.

- Develop and use cash management processes and strategies to make the best use of cash and bank accounts.

- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and reduce financial risks.

- These include interest rate changes, foreign exchange risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk etc.

- Investment Management in Financial Markets: Manage the organization's investment portfolio to maximize returns.

- This must be done while protecting capital and following the company's risk tolerance.

- Do thorough analysis and research to make informed investment decisions.

- Diversify the investment portfolio to spread risk across different assets.

- Funding and Capital Structure: Decide the best funding mix.

- This requires balancing equity and debt financing.

- Will also oversee the issuing of financial instruments such as debt securities and to negotiate terms with lenders or investors.

- Finally, should create and carry out plans to raise capital to support the organization's growth.

- Knowledge on the Financial reporting and compliance: presentation of financial reports on treasury activities and submit them to management, the board of directors, and other stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial rules and reporting standards.

- Work with auditors of the company.

- Help with audits about treasury operations.

- Manage relationships with banks, rating agencies, and financial institutions.

- Also, work with critical stakeholders.

- This is to ensure access to banking services and good terms.

- Negotiate banking fees, interest rates, credit facilities, and other financial arrangements.

- This is to make banking relationships better.

- To work with the AP team and accounting teams to analyse cash flow.

- This covers liquidity needs, debt management, and funding requirements.

- Strategic Planning: Help with the organisation's financial planning.

- This is mainly in areas related to financial management and risk reduction.

- Should also provide financial insights, analysis, and treasury projects.

- These will support important business decisions and objectives.

- Team leadership: Lead the treasury function.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to treasury managers, teams, and analysts.

- Foster a collaborative, results-oriented work environment in the Treasury Department.

- Complete knowledge of- Treasury- Products and its processes such as FB & NFB WC limits, Term Loan, ECB, FCTL, Vendor Bill Discounting, Bank Guarantee (BG), Letter of Credit, Buyers Credit, NBFC lease & loans etc.

- Complete knowledge of CMA / FFR / RBI Annexure I & III / UFCE / Ratio analysis etc and various reports that needs to be submitted to banks.

- Foreign Exchange: Complete work experience int handling FX transactions such as EEFC, Forward Contract, UFCE, GR waiver, IDPMS& EDPMS etc.

- MS Power Point / MS Excel / MS Word: Should be well versed in using / handling MS Power Point, MS Excel & MS Word.
