Treasury Controller - BFSI (7-11 yrs)
- Analyse treasury status and communicate this to key stakeholders
- Oversee cash transactions and ensure adequate liquidity
- Reconcile interest on Cash pool accounts & Exposures
- Reconciles all cash and investment accounts and resolves discrepancies.
- Performs daily bank account reconciliation.
- Determines company's cash position and assists with cash forecasting including variance analysis with actual cash flow.
- Reviews all cash management transactions and resolve cash issues in a timely manner.
- Prepares month-end cash accounting reports.
- Provides data for monthly journal entries relating to cash management activity.
- Prepare timely reports and present the same to the Senior Management.
- Serves as contact for the treasury department in terms of cross departmental projects as needed.
- Coordinates internal/external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert for accounting questions and valuation matters relating to hedges.
- Be involved in liquidity management based on input from the business
- Support the analysis and evaluation of financial decisions by providing information about risks, rewards and alternative options
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and finance departments
- Process queries, issues and open items from the business in a timely and service-minded manner
- Deliver service in line with agreed SOPs, controls, practice, policies and procedures
- Identify, contribute towards and drive business improvement initiatives and optimize current practices, processes and procedures
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Build good working relationships with all internal - and external stakeholders
