Travelkhana.com - Product Manager

Primary responsibility is for product delivery to meet company objectives. The role requires acting as a bridge between Management, Sales and its engineering team.

- Handle the entire chain from product ideation, through exploration and design, to launch and iteration i.e. conceptualize new products/features, do first-cut interaction design, create low level mockups, work with the development team for coding, design, QA and finally product launch.

- Need to be technical enough to understand pseudocode, interpret algorithms, run simple DB queries to generate reports, make the odd commits to SVN etc.

- Good understanding of social media marketing, SEO, search engine algorithms, keyword tracking, knowledge of web development & design (HTML/CSS/AJAX) and how it affects SEO.

- Prior experience in tracking traffic trends & metrics using Google Analytics, Adwords, Quantcast, Comscore, and exposure to tools like Kissmetrics/Mixpanel, usability testing is a plus.

- Minimum 2-3 years experience in product management, program management or product delivery roles in a strong technology / engineering environment

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MCA . MBA preferred. Reputed institutes (top 20) preferred
