Role Description:
This is a full-time off-site role for a Senior Financial Specialist located in Bengaluru. The Senior Financial Specialist will be responsible for financial planning, utilizing analytical skills for decision-making, financial reporting, and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Role and responsibilities:
- Strong GL Experience with department level accounting for India and US ledgers
- Responsible for performing the day- to-day general ledger accounting, financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas.
- Research and resolve Business Unit(s) inquiries for assigned functional areas.
- Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for assigned functional areas:
- Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations.
- Prepare all Financial Reporting requirements package.
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related
accounting documents/schedules.
- Prepare foreign currency transactions analysis and its impact on financial results.
- Prepare reporting packages: DCP; Corporate; Tax; GST filings/audits, where applicable; Audit Engagement
Schedules.
- Calculate withholding tax receipts for Corporate Tax.
- Adherence to Statutory requirements and timely remedial responses to internal audit /compliance teams,
as and when required including but not limited to annual audit.
- Assisting the supervisor in seamless management of the above deliverables and client support.
- Sound understanding of P2P, O2C & R2R, with special emphasis on P2P. Strong communication and client
relationship management.
- Technically sound, with hands on multiple reporting and accounting applications/systems MS Office (Excel,
Word, PowerPoint) and SAP any ERP environment
- Should be able to work on ad-hoc/immediate requirements with team driven culture
Functional/operational: Functional
Qualifications : CA or ICWA with 3 years of experience OR M.Com/MBA (Finance) 5 to 6+ year of experience
