Qualifications :

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Statistics/Math or related quantitative degree or equivalent work experience.

- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in data analytics and hands-on experience in working with R/Python, SQL and Excel.

- Knowledge of big data concepts and hands-on experience in working with HADOOP and PySpark, including predictive modelling within the - ML- framework in PySpark.

- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and hands-on experience in the implementation of machine learning techniques, such as, clustering, predictive modelling and forecasting.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Candidates should be able to :

- Understand business problems, establish data requirements and design solution frameworks

- Interpret, clean, consolidate and analyze data

- Perform data exploration and feature engineering, build mathematical/statistical/machine learning models, perform descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing

- Leverage big data technologies - Hadoop and PySpark - to build solutions, if required

- Design and build dashboards and other visualizations in BI tools

- Excellent critical thinking, verbal and written communications skills

- Work in a proactive, highly engaging, client service environment and demonstrate excellent teamwork

- Create good quality presentations and reports to document insights and results, and present the same to the client

- Contribute to the organization's growth by creating whitepapers, blogposts and articles
