Transition Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads a component of a Workstream or a defined portion of a Service Transition program (e.g., knowledge transfer or PMO)
- Manages the development and deployment of transition deliverables for a given transition Workstream
- Adheres to and implement Mobilization methods and tools
- Participate in Due Diligence and Service Transition activities
- Apply advanced analytical skills in assessing concepts and alternatives
- Manages given solution/Workstream of a Service Transition program
- Define, build, and implement workable components to Service Transition programs by leveraging existing standard solution components as much as possible
- Define detailed costs and benefits of a given solution/workstream of a Service Transition program
- Manage internal/external client relationship within their area of responsibility
- Demonstrates ability as individual contributor or in leadership of up to teams of 3 to 4 resources
- Lead detailed designs and build of at least one Workstream component or sub-component working within the guides of the overall Solution Blueprint
- Provide peer review to other service transition activities
- Contributes to mobilization capabilities through method & asset development and knowledge capital harvesting
Key Expectations:
People Enablement
- Create project staffing plan and enable operations staffing; provide daily status on hiring
- Visa & Travel Management for the resources travelling onshore for knowledge transfer
Technology & Work Environment
- Create infrastructure requirement plan (Seating/Floor/Facility)
- Readiness of workspace (seats/desktops/PCs/Laptops etc)
- Application provisioning and access/bank tokens/Macros
- Complete Application UAT
Project Management Office
- Follow and support Management Operating System (MOS) with client
- Schedule calls and minute the meetings
- Follow up on open items
- Help support RAID management with other leads
KT/Wave Lead
- Client interaction Onshore and remote
- Pre Process Training (Internal Resources, mainly travelers)
- Pre KT Training (New Joiners, mainly RKT)
- DTP review and Sign off by client
- Create and execute Knowledge transfer approach and plan
Client visits
- Logistics and content management
Technical skills:
- MS Project: Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining project plans. Report out using basic MS Project options
- MS Visio: Create and maintain process maps
- MS Excel: Create and manage detailed project plan with specific tollgates, milestones, planned/actual start and closure date, responsibility and completion status
- MS Power point: Governance meetings to provide the updates based on the expectations from the target audience
