About the Role

- Our Client is looking for a motivated candidate who will support the further growth of their business in the role of a Transaction Officer Finance in Mumbai

- The position is meant for a dedicated and client-oriented professional.

Your Main Tasks

- Draft business related contractual documents (promissory notes, loan agreements, waivers) with assistance of the Legal Department.

- Coordination with Investee, Investment Officers, and other Transaction Officers for obtaining and tracking various Constitutional, Legal, Financial & Regulatory documents.

- Analyze these documents for consistency with internal policy and AML guidelines. Undertake necessary steps to remedy any discrepancies or non-compliant documents.

- Support with continuous investment administration (cash flow statements and tracking, legal documents tracking, deal restructuring).

- Perform FX hedging trades (Spot, Forward and other types as per training).

- Liaise with Custody Bank for execution of disbursements.

Education

- Post Graduate Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.

Experience

- 3 to 5 years of work experience

Skills

- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

- Analytical skills, ability to stick to tight timelines and strong organizational and planning skills.

- Efficient, accurate and independent work style; able to work in close cooperation with team members across different geographies, interested in working in a culturally diverse environment.

- Interest in and enthusiasm for impact investments.

Language

Proficiency in English; any other additional language is considered an asset.
