Trafigura - Program Manager - Procurement (8-11 yrs)

Role Purpose :

- Creating and managing the overall Program of procurement value-adding activities across the globe;

- Tracking and presenting progress

- Managing the regular data analysis of all procurement transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Create the program:

- Create the FISP (fully integrated sourcing program) master document - covering sourcing activities worth - hundreds of millions covering 30+ countries and 135 sourcing groups

- Capture all sourcing activities which are planned and underway across the procurement function

Track progress:

- Establish regular updates from procurement leaders and teams across the globe

- Ensure consistency and completeness of updates

- Own the quality of the information in the FISP

- Hit all deadlines for updates

Present and report on progress:

- Use the FISP to create presentations of the excellent standard to present to Procurement leadership team, Excom members, Finance leaders, and business leaders

- Work with finance to ensure planned and forecast cost savings can be tracked into accounts for both operating expenditure and capital expenditure

- Do likewise with the spend data cube to filter data on category, business segment, geography, and time period.

Data analytics:

- Take ownership of the process for creating the spend data cube on behalf of the procurement

- Work with IT data experts and/or external data analytics company to manage the update process and validation of the quality of data

Training and developing teams:

- Through interactions with procurement team across the globe, coach teams on what it takes to manage procurement proactively and to manage sourcing activities

- Coach teams in order to complete and update the FISP consistently and with completeness in line with the agreed publication timetable.

Experience:

- Degree ideally with a further qualification in Procurement / Supply chain / Business

- Potentially from a managing consulting / business planning background

- Demonstrate working successfully Cross country and with multiple PnL's / business units

- Can demonstrate working with large amounts of data

- Understands accounting and how transactions are processed

Skills:

- Business Fluent English and Spanish

- Data analytics, advanced MS Excel skills

- Excellent presentation creation skills, using MS PowerPoint

- Balancing coaching with a need to hit deadlines, relying on others to complete their own work

- Able to work across multiple time zones and business cultures around the world

Key Relationships:

- Internal - All procurement staff across Puma; especially Global Head, Regional Heads, procurement operations leads, global and regional category managers. IT team for work on systems. Senior finance teams across the globe. Some potential interaction with Excom
