Department : Business Process Excellence

Main Purpose

- The incumbent will be part of in Trafigura Global Services Private Limited (TGS) and will lead Process Excellence & Reengineering initiatives

- Enable the delivery of Automation projects by completing the detailed business process analysis, requirement gathering, defining functional requirements and verifying business cases for change

- The candidate will manage relationships and expectations with business stakeholders and sponsors and support development and test teams throughout the entire delivery lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve operational excellence through process improvements, leading to eventual value addition, drive productivity and best-in-class performance

- Drive projects aimed at improving efficiency and control benefits across various teams

- Candidate Process Assessment & Opportunity Identification

- Responsible for clearly articulating target business processes and the business requirements and functional design to enable change

- Prepare the requirement documents - BRDs and FSDs

- Work with the Solution Architects to finalize the Solution Design and optimise business processes

- Detail story elaboration to enable the Automation

- Support development teams to ensure a solution meets its business requirements

- Manage Change, Relationship and Communication with Operations & IT stakeholders

- Ensure Toll Gates through Metrics & Measurement (FTE benefit calculations and sign off)

- Support UATs with test cases. Ensure Post Go-Live Stability

Key Relationships

- Internal - Managers across various departments, Senior Management, Head of Departments in other regional hubs of TGS

- External - External Vendors Developers, and Project Managers

Work Experience:

- 8-12 years of overall experience in leading multinationals; Part of business operations for 3+ years, Experience as an IT Business Analyst will be an add on

- Understands the complexity of managing a multi-process operation set up. This could be captive or non-captive


- Desired (Not Mandatory): Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Business Analyst, Agile Development, PMP

- Proven ability to act as a bridge between the business and development team, translating business concepts into requirements that are implementable

- Experience of business analysis in a middle office. Knowledge of areas such as commodity trading, invoicing, taxation, accounting and settlement will be add-on.

- Hands-on experience in RPA Tools (UiPath), UiPath Business Analysis experience

- Strong on Numeric/Analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills

- Strong academic background, logical thinking, precise understanding and clear articulation


- Ability to operate at both conceptual and working levels

- An eye for detail and an extremely hands-on working style

- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

- Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into action plans

- Proven verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, team working skills and ethical standards

- Ability to deliver results


- Fluency in verbal and written English mandatory
