The role of an operations support analyst is to support the Operator in day to day activities and in process learn the basics of the business and support the business function. - Actively track product movement, manage storage terminals and always keep the system updated. - Ensure payment to external counterparties are completed, and expenses are controlled and the company receives payments from external counterparties in line with established policies and procedures, in an efficient, timely and accurate manner Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Candidates should have : - 0-1 years of experience - MBA from a reputed college. Degree in Engineering is desirable. - Extremely strong communication skills and quantitative ability - Strong business acumen and has a commercial bent of mind - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment - Ability to negotiate with International customers The ideal candidate for this profile is one who is curious, is a self-starter, can think on her/ his feet, is always hungry to learn and do more. One who is action oriented, is well organized, has a logical bent of mind and can think out of the box to find solution to new challenges that this role brings up daily. Should have excellent scheduling, networking skills & desire to work hard and invest time in learning the in-house systems to manage the risk involved in the business. Key Responsibilities : - Working with internal and external counterparties for managing ongoing operations, including pre and post operations activities - Manage multiple storage terminals across locations, monitoring product inflow and outflow and liaise with terminal operators for daily loading and offloading operations - Understand the business, cultural nuances and maintain excellent working relationships with counterparties based in different countries - Actively track product movement through different logistics channels including vessels, trucks, wagons, pipelines and Keep system updated at all times with accurate data - Verifying supporting documents against data entry in respective systems, and raising any query to relevant department in case of inconsistent data - Capturing and posting sales invoices, credit notes (AR Invoice) for sales and services rendered, recharge to external Counterparties - Posting AP invoices, related to cargo and trade expenses, to relevant analytical level and/or cost centers by analyzing invoice vs expense and recording entries Key Relationships : - Trading Desk - Deals Desk - Trade Finance Desk - Customers - Service Providers Reporting Structure - Oil Operations Team Leader Equal Opportunity Employer : We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and take pride in a diverse workforce.
