Trading Accountant - Commodity/Sugar

Candidate's Profile:

Qualification - B.Com.,CA, CFA, ICWA, M.Com.

Candidate with any of the above qualifications along with 5-8 yrs of experience as an accountant in a commodity firm will be preferred.

Candidate must be residing in Singapore.

Job Description:

Work closely with the team to Lead & Manage all aspects of Sugar Singapore operations including:

1. Work closely with the Zaandam accountant on coordinating the reporting requirements.

2. Prepare all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements of local, state, and federal agencies and local taxation

3. Preparation of Annual Budget, including developing variance analysis with actual results

4. Enforcement of Risk management Policy, including review of customers

5. Prepare timely & accurate preparation of monthly profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and other financial management reports.

6. Conduct monthly financial review including analysis of Financial Reports & management reporting.

7. Liaise with External Auditors, bankers, associate companies, tax agents and all relevant parties

8. Provide innovation and leadership in maximizing resources and managing assets

9. Hire, supervise, and train bookkeeping/accounting staff as and when required

10. Promote team spirit and the Company’s and Group’s core values

11. Coordinate annual audit activities
