Trade Compliance Lead - Global eCommerce Startup

TRADE COMPLIANCE LEAD (GLOBAL E-COMMERCE)

Does understanding and streamlining operations based on various international trade laws and regulations excite you? Do you effectively manage cross-border trade regulations for large businesses? We are looking for an expert to support brands on a broad range of global import, export and product compliance matters.

WHAT WE EXPECT :

- 2-5 years' experience working as a trade compliance expert with graduation from a Tier 1 Institute

- Background in global e-commerce operations is preferred

- Experience, expertise and proven track record of overviewing effective international trade compliance operations and strategies for businesses to scale globally

- Collaborated with Data Centre, Product Compliance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, Regulatory authorities and internal teams to drive trade and product compliance and execute import/export transactions from India

- Ability to structure and present information in the most processed form to a diverse set of audience

- Extremely detail-oriented, analytical and creative problem solver with the ability to propose innovative solutions to problems at hand

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT :

- Develop and maintain procedures to support trade compliance in overall cross-border operations in sync with all regulatory frameworks

- Monitor and evolve processes according to the import/export regulatory ecosystem and guidelines from India to rest of the world

- Understand holistic requirements of the Product in terms of integrations with various existing tools and technologies to incorporate necessary features

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams - marketing, design, art, engineering, category to launch core features
