Senior Manager-Communications


1. Lead Communications Strategy:

- Work closely with senior management to define and fine-tune communication goals in line with organizational goals

- Create effective messaging that differentiates the brand in the Indian market

- Develop short and long-term communication plans and campaigns

- Work closely with various verticals within the organization to provide a communications lens on strategic initiatives

- Manage communication executive(s), consultants and external partners and agencies

2. Drive Marketing and Brand Communications Execution:

- Build narrative on the importance of and need for 'play' and source stories from the field

- Write compelling pieces of online and offline content for various channels targeted at specific audiences

- Plan, implement and maintain content marketing strategy for website and digital/ social media platforms

- Ensure visibility of the brand and programs through authored press releases, feature stories and thought-leadership articles in media publications and journals

- Develop annual and progress reports, strategic presentations, award applications and provide strategic inputs to individual and institutional grant submissions

Qualifications and skills:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing/Advertising/Communications/ Journalism

- 8+ years experience with marketing communications strategy and execution

- Strategic knowledge of digital marketing

- Team player, collaborative work style, self-starter, individual contributor, can take on multiple projects

- Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills

- Eye for design and working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva

- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, SEO and website monitoring tools
