Townhall (www.townhall.co), a B2B SAAS hybrid-native events technology platform for the global market, is looking for a Startup Marketing Lead to power their marketing strategy and execution as their first marketing hire. Townhall is backed by BookMyShow as a strategic investor and marquee angel investors Kunal Shah, Haresh Chawla among others. Some of the leading customers that trust Townhall to power their event technology needs include IEEE, ASME, BookMyShow, TEDx, etc. The leadership team is on a mission to build Townhall into a unicorn company in the next few years!

What You Will Do ?

- Set up and own the end to end marketing function to drive initial visibility and growth at 0-1 stage

- Spearhead multiple growth hacking programs to drive demand generation with high quality leads

- Partner with sales and product to deliver the right message across all audience touch-points such as website, sales collaterals, landing pages, etc

- Lead content strategy and execution across website, social media, blogs, email, etc

- Lead non paid search and SEO optimization to drive long term organic growth

- Own paid marketing channels across all channels to drive inorganic growth

- Own event marketing programs such as webinars, roundtables, podcasts, etc to drive demand gen

- Work with freelancers, software, agencies, etc. if required to augment your work and get more work done

What makes you a good fit?

- Experience in setting up marketing channels in early stage startups to drive initial growth

- Experience working across some or all of these functions : product marketing, content marketing, SEO, demand generation, growth marketing

- If you consider yourself as a Marketing Generalist/Jack of all trades

- You need not know everything already but have an entrepreneurial mindset to figure things out

- Thinking strategically on deciding the most suitable marketing campaigns to build and launch

- Ability to deliver as an IC with the technical chops to execute and own multiple marketing campaigns

- If you are a hustler and enjoys working in a startup environment with ambitious and driven people

- If you are a solid writer! this doesn't mean you need to be an expert copywriter but good writing skills are a must

Location: Hyderabad is preferable but not a bar for the right candidate.
