Tower Lead - Financial Accounting - Shared Services Vertical (13-20 yrs)
Our client is looking to hire Tower Lead - Financial Accounting for their shared services vertical.
- The Record to Report Tower Lead will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of group-wide month/quarter-end and year-end closing of first cut standalone financial reporting process, ensuring accurate results and compliance with laws and regulations
- Strong and proactive business leader with a transformational mindset who has deep expertise in the RTR processes, possesses excellent strategic thinking, and leadership and change management skills. This leader should be responsible for the delivery of in-scope services in accordance with defined service level agreements (SLAs) and champion end-to-end process optimization.
- As a result, this role should deliver transformative performance improvements, consistent levels of service that meet or exceed requirements, and cost savings.
- Responsible for overseeing the team to ensure accurate:
- GL, FA, Intercompany, Journal entries process delivery
- COE team process delivery for Standalone financial preparation, ledger scrutiny, regulatory reporting, tax reporting, other GL reporting and audit support
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate standalone financial statements, including GL reconciliations/ ledger scrutiny, local statutory & regulatory reports, and adhoc analysis to both internal management and external users
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, financial reporting norms, associated with duties and responsibilities, proper delegation of authorities, and other internal controls (RCM, IFC)
- Possess strong knowledge of Indian GAAP and new Ind-AS accounting standards
- Ensure compliance with the period end close calendar, including collaborating with various teams impacted by or participating in the period end close process
- Identify, support, and lead RTR improvement initiatives in tandem with the SSC Head and SSC Service Management and Quality Lead to drive operational efficiencies and improved controls
- Manage required and appropriate reporting to facilitate informed decision making
- Support external audit and internal audit requests
