Head of Digital Technology


Scope


- Oversee strategic design, acquisition, management, and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions and infrastructure (including Cloud Infra) As part of technology strategy, present the Total Environment Technology Roadmap to the executive team

- Create a vision for and drive the enterprise-wide digital technology strategy. Lead the digital strategy execution including coordination and oversight of cross functional teams that deliver digital projects

- Work with executive team and staff to develop and implement a culture of exceptional client service around technology and digital offerings

- Own the product strategy (for example the Total Environment E-Design Platform) - this includes the go-to-market aspects for E-Design platform, partnerships with VCs/Investors, customer engagement and monetization

- Ensure the right technology next-generation architecture and agile development, DevOps practices are implemented

- Manage the product's development cycle and deployment based on the best practices of Software Engineering

- Ensure Total Environment's key projects: New Website, Sales Enablement Platform, E-Design Customization Platform, Home Automation Platform, Core ERP platform, and other up-coming projects are all integrated, and architecture in the backend as One Data Digital Platform (this will help us to cross leverage data to make better decisions across Total Environment Portfolio companies)

- Plan and manage digital technology budget, continuously evaluating and improving return on investment

- Negotiate and manage major contracts with IT hardware and service providers/vendors - establish partnerships with external third parties to increase speed of innovation, testing, implementation, replication and scaling

Accountability :

- Successful planning and coordination of the execution of global and local digital projects across the Total Environment, and act as the primary liaison for partners and vendors, ensuring alignment of efforts with the company's strategic objectives

- Function as a change agent for Total Environment by articulating the business needs and value of Digital initiatives effectively enterprise-wide, influencing support and driving adoption for digital-based initiatives

- Remain current with technology standards, industry trends and emerging technologies, as well as product development and product management best practices while ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements :

- Ability to operate in a start-up mentality and unstructured environment

- 15+ years of experience working in the Technology Leadership; experience/knowledge in architecture, software engineering, cloud infrastructure, core ERP platforms, agile, DevOps domain and new technologies (microservices, containers, APIs, others)

- Experience in leading large technology teams, complex technology transformation programs

- Strong coding expertise in JavaScript stack and open to learning new software languages

- Passion for technology and the acumen to recognize technologies appropriate for adoption.

- Strong analytical, strategic planning, creative decision making and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to relate to and communicate effectively with IT/engineering professionals, business functions owners and senior management.

- Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills, ability to balance product requirements, manage expectations, and drive effective results using a proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues

- Bachelor/ Masters in Engineering or Computer Science or relevant technical degree

- Be highly entrepreneurial, thrive on collaboration, and possess a holistic and deep understanding of the elements of technologies delivering value to business
