Sales Director with Singapore based Wealth Management Fintech

Location: Mumbai, Remote

About the Company:

Torre Capital (https://www.torre.capital/) is a VC funded Singapore based Financial Technology company and a Registered Fund Manager in Singapore. We are creating a fully digital Wealthtech to connect family offices and HNI investors with global opportunities, including alternative assets like Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate Funds, and Hedge Funds. We also offer our investors the ability to invest in high-quality global growth startups, private debt opportunities, and other liquid opportunities (Equity baskets, structured products, etc.). Our team comprises of ex-Mckinsey consultants, Asset management veterans, and Digital experts. We are backed by prestigious VC firms and a network of angels and industry leaders.

We are expanding in India and looking for a Sales Director to be in charge of overall client acquisition and relationship management. You are also welcome to work on an independent contract with us sourcing clients if you do not wish for a full time role, we provide lucrative sales incentives.

Please note:

- Relevant and significant experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management is a must. You will join as a senior member of the team and your role will be pivotal to our success.

- Please reach out only if you are serious about and comfortable with working in a small setup. We have 12-18 months of runway but we are conscious of investor funds. You won- t get any perks or fancy offices or free lunches, but you will have 100% independence of operation, and the opportunity to create never before products from scratch.

- This is a global role; you will be required to interact with clients and funds across the world and not only limited to India.

Role description, requirements and comp

You work with India's biggest family offices and HNIs to onboard and activate them as our investors. Your primary role is to make sure the Investment team is bringing the right opportunities that fit the investor base, and then help close mandates. You also work closely with the Engineering manager to create new digital products/platforms

- Focus on organic/network driven customer acquisition

- Both hunting and farming of new and existing HNI clients and family offices

- Identify and onboard new network partners (Private Banks, Wealth Firms, Independent advisors) to source customers

- Build a team of mid/junior wealth managers for actively managing relationships

- Work with the Engineering manager to continuously improve the digital platform

Prior experience with Private Banking or Asset management on the Buy side is a must.
