TORQ - Assistant Manager - Trade Operations (5-9 yrs)
Assistant Manager- Trade Operations (Agri)
- Responsible for Contract Management, Vendor Management and Risk Assessment.
- Liaise with Finance & Accounts for all interlinkages between Finance & Operations.
- Work with Business ERP for execution of operations.
- Managing Operational Risks proactively and efficiently for optimal business operations
- Manage performance of the operations functionalities against the SLAs and review and improve internal processes for execution excellence.
- Follow-up with customers for payments, arrange import remittance to suppliers and close the transactions.
- Ensure timely deliveries of the consignments at agreed locations with optimum costs.
- Contract Management: Drafted contracts after negotiating commercial terms with customers and vendors (CHAs, Transporters and Inspection Agencies)
- Responsible for export of Global trade by managing the entire chain of operations like drafting Sales contract as per agreed terms, opening Letter of Credit (LC), arrange for load port inspection of Cargo, checking of export documents, and obtaining payment from the buyers.
- Examine bid bonds/bank guarantees of the bidders and scrutinize documents for LC negotiation.
