Job Purpose/Objective :

- To be the Think-Tank for the Sales team by constantly developing new initiatives that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

- To act as the critical link between Sales and other linked departments (Marketing, Planning, Customer Care, HR and Other Functions )

- To develop sales vision and agenda for each effective sales period.

- To evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of the sales team by intelligent sales force allocation.

- To review, plan and execute various incentivization techniques and procedures/

- To drive and vet alternate sales activities for the segment.

- To ensure compliance & control of sites in the segment by constant monitoring of sales as a function - processes, pricing and deviations from the same.

- To ensure Sales Team meet the Target

- Prepare Business Plan on business design, structure, process and operating plan and financial model.

- Strategies and plan the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, key account management expenses, profitability, new product development, market research and brand strategy.

- Periodically review distributor performance through Regional Managers and check on gaps in performance and seek reasons and actionable steps to close the gaps.

- Conduct effective and accurate market research and apply this information to increase market share.

- Conduct regular meeting with sales team to discuss target status, product training and sales strategy.

- Monitor and analyze all marketing and sales reports received from regional office.

- Coordinate, prepare and launch new products for the assigned market(s) with operation of the respective.

- Sales department in the respective regions.

- Ensure the confidentiality of the customer list, mailing lists and other sensitive company information.

- Motivate and monitor Zonal heads on sales activities.
