ABOUT THE ROLE: Toppr is looking for its Associate Vice President of Sales. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving Toppr's revenue growth and leading high-performing teams. You'll lead, inspire, provide direction, and guide the day-to-day operations of your sales team. Along with the learning app, our School Operating System (School OS) and the recently Launched Toppr Codr product, provide students with the complete in-school, after-school and co-curricular learning ecosystem. We have the widest syllabus coverage with over 17 subjects, 22 boards, and 58 exams. We believe each child is unique with distinct learning needs. Understand Topprs journey, its values and mission. Spend time with the Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to get up-to-speed on Topprs offering, its competition, and future outlook. By Day 30... Lead your teams to achieve top-line (~INR 100Cr/$16M annualized) and profit targets for your Business Units (BUs). Design sales incentive plans to enable goal attainment. Partner with cross-functional teams and sales leadership to drive consistent growth including taking responsibility for hiring and training the Sales team. Day 90... Responsibility of MoM growth in your territories. Take ownership of expansion and revenue generation in all unexplored territories in your regions. Dig deeper and pick a project that matters to Toppr and its success. By doing so, you'll be solving problems on a pan-India level. Watch your work make an impact beyond your region. Nurture your team to move to the next level. KEY QUALIFICATION: MBA/PGDM from Tier I Business School and/or B. Tech. from a Tier I college (IITs, BITS, NITs). Minimum 5 years of work experience in B2C sales with 3+ years managing large sales teams with operational complexity. OR MBA/PGDM, Minimum 12 years of work experience in B2C Sales with 8+ years managing large sales teams with operational complexity. - Experience in a sales position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment is a plus. - Commercial acumen and understanding of the edtech and educational industry. - Preferred from any B2C Industry (Push product or concept selling) : Education, Insurance, BFSI, Telecom, Timeshare, Ecommerce or Internet, Startups, FMCG, etc. WHO ARE YOU: - To be successful in this role, you'll need to have the following skills: - Leadership: Ability to move and inspire a large team in a unified direction towards a common vision. - Humility: An approachable individual who is able to form strong and long-lasting relationships. - Motivation: Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude.
