ABOUT TOPPR :

Toppr is India's leading edtech company with a mission to make learning personalized. Our adaptive after-school learning app for classes 5th to 12th is used by over 70 lakh students. We have the widest syllabus support that covers over 20 subjects, 20 boards, and 50 exams. We believe each child is unique with distinct learning needs. We are building Toppr as an adaptive platform to increase engagement, optimize learning and improve outcomes for all students. Toppr was started in 2013 by IIT Bombay alumni Zishaan Hayath and Hemanth Goteti and is backed by venture capital firms like SAIF, Helion, and Eight Roads.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

Toppr is looking for an AGM of Content Marketing. With a compelling content marketing strategy, you drive a behavioral change among the potential users. You are the owner of all communication at Toppr. You lead a team of social media executives, content writers, and editors to meticulously execute the content plan and put out palatable communication through our website, blog, PR, and social media channels to grow Toppr's reach.

HOW YOU WILL RAMP :

In First Week :

- Understand Toppr's journey, mission, values, future outlook, and footprint across India.

- Spend time with the product, content, social media marketing, digital, and offline marketing teams to get up-to-speed on Toppr's product, marketing, and sales strategies.

- Conduct research to understand Toppr as a brand. Brainstorm new ideas to create exciting experiences for our current and potential users.

By Day 30 :

- Build the foundation of your team by creating content guidelines. Manage editorial and publishing calendars and style guides.

- Based on your findings, source original content for Toppr's social media, website and other platforms - tailored for our target audience.

By Day 90 :

- Use data and feedback from users to help evaluate and enhance the value of our content.

- Monitor industry changes. Manage and refine content strategies and execute optimization tactics.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor or masters degree in communications or media discipline. A degree in Journalism is preferred.

- Minimum of 4 years experience working in a content marketing role.

- Experience in managing and leading a team is a must.

- Hands-on experience of 360 marketing campaigns is a big plus.

WHO YOU ARE :

- To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills:

- Communication: Strong writing and editing skills in English. A perfectionist when it comes to spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Understands the special requirements of writing for the web.

- A sense of data: Expertise in data-driven marketing, including content strategies/scaling. Possesses distinctive problem-solving skills.

- Team player: Knack for influencing without being authoritative. Pitch in wherever the team needs help.

- Self-motivated: Demonstrate a positive, - can-do- attitude. Willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
