About the role: This role is seeking a consumer insight professional to organize and contribute data-led insights to influence and shape the future of the brand, advertising and user experience. This role is responsible for research project management, analysis and ownership of related initiatives to facilitate business growth. This person will be required to setup and structure the Consumer Insights Wing for AMPA, alongside the VP of Marketing Areas of responsibility: - Work with internal marketing 'customers' to scope and implement research schedules to enable business growth - Manage the research projects end-to-end - Liaise with external partners to get the study done in a timely and cost-effective manner - Own and manage the already running tracks - Collaborate internally to ensure intelligence is presented and shared with appropriate groups and individuals - Maintain up-to-date knowledge repository of all the research work being conducted - Find opportunities to create and automate repeatable analyses or build self-service tools/dashboards for marketing 'customers - Work closely with analytics colleagues OR research suppliers to develop, operationalize and manage dashboards - Become an invaluable project management resource for studies covering a variety of topics: brand strategy, brand health, advertising measurement, consumer attitudes and usage Technical & behavioral skills: - 4-7 years of experience in marketing/market research/insights, corporate or agency with experience conducting analysis of primary quantitative market research data - Foundational understanding of branding, advertising (traditional and digital), marketing concepts and strategy - Intellectually curious and analytically rigorous, strong attention to detail, Excel mastery - A sense of urgency, a proactive approach - Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate analyses into easily digestible stories for internal consumption - Exemplary interpersonal skills, relationship building and teamwork - Ability to manage through ambiguity, display organization dexterity - Exceptional project management; strong planner and problem solver - Demonstrated strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of driving insight to action. What we'd love: - Experience on both sides of the table - at a market research agency and on the client side, in a CMI function - Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies & project management - Experience running brand health tracks and communication evaluation studies
