- Market Expansion: The entire team at ToneTag is aligned with a single purpose - making ToneTag the de-facto standard in mobile payments. In order to achieve this, it is imperative that we have a country wide acceptance network which is bigger than any other in India now, and globally in the next phase of expansion. In order to make this a reality, it is critical that we acquire some of the biggest retail brands across industries.

Job description - 

- Should be able to manage a team size of 35-40

- Responsible for target achievement on a day-to-day basis.

- Working in close co-ordination with the expansion team based in Bangalore to device a solid strategy for open market sales.

- Go-to person for merchant acquisition in Mumbai.

- Responsible PJP (Permanent Journey Path) of the members reporting to him.

- Scan the competitive market to understand and evaluate the service offerings of other companies and partners, as well as keep up to date with the rules and regulations affecting the payments industry.

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Company's payment and non-payment solutions, technologies and services.

- Engage in business development activities to acquire new customers and expand the Company's existing client base and revenue sources within India and outside.

- Formal weekly updates to report progress, potential leads and overall sales pipeline.

- Liaise with different internal departments to channel feedback on customer and partner requirements, preferences and value-added features.

- Create and execute - a city launch and meet the required KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

- Should have a proven track record in generating new business and in exceeding sales targets.

- Should be a self-motivator who can work independently, and possess strong organizational, time management and communication skills.

- Should be responsible and a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and Leadership skills and comfortable presenting in front of small and large audiences.

- Should demonstrate excellent enthusiasm and leadership, and a strong work ethic necessary to succeed in a dynamic, fast-moving and results oriented environment.

- Must be available for occasional travel to meet and network with clients in person, to represent the Company at various industry events and shows.

Desired Experience and Education:

- Preferably Masters in Business Administration (full time), PGDM (Full time).

- Should bring 1 to 2 years of relevant sales experience, specifically within the mobile/online payment industry in India, as well as B2B (Business to Business) experience.

- Achieve ambitious & aggressive sales/acquisition targets.
