Here's what you'll be doing : We are looking for a strategic thinker and a data-driven decision maker to join our team in the role of 'Associate Director, Product'. The person will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with design, engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure engagement, revenue, and customer success goals are met. What you'll do : - Define the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with design, engineering, sales, marketing and customer support teams - Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritised features and corresponding justifications - Be an expert with respect to customer needs - Iterate, iterate, iterate!! Within 3 months, you will : - Understand Toddle's vision and product strategy - Understand International Baccalaureate as an educational framework - Shadow at least one customer interaction per week. Across Sales, Support, and User Research, to understand how Toddle users use the product - Participate in a fully-formed product development team as they take a feature to market - Participate in product reviews and give feedback on other team members work in progress - Know every corner of our Web app, Educator app, Family app and Student app. You'll get a sense of our strengths and identify opportunities for improvement Within 6 months, you will : - Deeply understand our users and their needs by participating in user research. Talk directly with educators, coordinators, and school leadership team to learn about the challenges they face - Launch a product feature from start to end as the primary owner. You will work with Leadership, Design, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to design, build, and launch the right MVP - Identify key success metrics for the feature and take ownership for evangelising the feature with all Toddle's stakeholders Within 12 months, you will : - Establish, track, and report progress on product metrics and KPIs for leadership and org - Own and drive a major, complex cross-functional product effort. You will enforce the correct scope, flag risks, and coordinate stakeholders - Perform a metric-based analysis on a product area to understand how widely it is adopted, by what types of users, and if there are any fall-offs in the work flows. You will use this to inform product design and roadmap decisions - Educate, mentor and train team members across the entire company on product methodology and philosophy Is this someone that looks like you? : - Experience : 3-6 years of product management experience, B2B SaaS preferred - Has an interest in designing products for education & knows the difference between "good" and "great", and can work through team dynamics, timelines to deliver excellent products - Has experience with Scrum or other agile development concepts - Has a bias-for-action and has hands-on experience delivering business results - Does user focused and data-backed decision making - We deeply value building the right culture at Toddle, and these are a few things that we look for in each hire - Coach-ability, Curiosity, Ownership, Hustle and Humility - Location: Bangalore, India (until office resumes it's remote) Excited about the role?
