Summary

This requirement is for Global Reconciliations operations team.

Daily responsibilities will be project management in nature. High level of business understanding of securities markets, Reconciliations and related systems will be definitely preferred. The candidate should have good documentation and project management knowledge and should be able to work through multiple or at times conflicting priorities with an eye for detail.

The candidate would be responsible for leading and managing a variety of projects which may range from system changes, global market changes or BAU related projects impacting or initiated by Reconciliations.

Should be well versed with project management techniques and possess effective communication and presentation skills.

In addition to this, innovative thought process to provide tactical as well as strategic solutions to business teams is expected.

Major Duties

1. Project managing a variety of projects which may range from system changes & implementation, global market changes or BAU related projects impacting or initiated by Reconciliations.

2. Ability to develop a plan and monitor activities that are necessary to complete business analysis effort by identifying stakeholders, selection of business analysis techniques and process that will manage requirements & assess progress of work

3. Configuration requirements - this involves collating and cleanup of all the information from various teams. Writing UAT test cases with guidance from SMEs from Control and Admin and Ops

4. Support and facilitate UAT and other testing, including raising issues with Ops, projects, IT and support users with initial handholding

5. Provide leadership in identifying and understanding business need, defines the need and develop solution scope that can be implemented. Responsible for development of the business case.

6. Co-ordinate across multiple groups including IT, projects and escalate as necessary to ensure timely completion of projects

7. Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross functional and technically difficult

8. Technical experts without management responsibilities, seen as advisors to the business

9. Time management and prioritization of tasks and projects

10. Management reporting of progress on projects assigned on periodic basis

11. Keeps abreast of the changing and evolving landscape within the business unit and the markets

Knowledge / Skills

- Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills

- Eye for detail with the ability to work through multiple priorities and demands

- Sufficient knowledge of Asset and Cash reconciliation end to end activities including systems used

- Has a good understanding of Custody & GFS business

- Understands and can comprehend the risks associated and apply it within the in-scope projects

- Independent worker that does not require a lot of handholding - some of them will have to step up and own waves of implementation once they are trained so it's absolutely essential that they are comfortable doing that

Experience

A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred.

Current experience in managing projects will be an added advantage

At least 9 years of overall work experience and a minimum of 24 months in the current role.

Related Industry qualification / or studying towards, will be good to have
