Job title - Category Manager - Mother care &amp; Wellness Reports to Chief Category Officer Span of Control - NA Role Type - IC Job purpose :&nbsp; At Tjori, we are looking for a seasoned category manager to manage the Mother Care &amp; Wellness range for the brand. You will be the one responsible for the pricing and overall promotion to maximize consumer appeal. - This role demands a blend of strategic retail business planning with sound commercial judgment, first class purchasing, supply chain, financial and marketing skills. - An excellent category manager must have extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment. They must have a commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles. Incumbent is expected to have strong communication &amp; leadership skills Duties and responsibilities :&nbsp; - Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends - Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services - Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands - Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories - Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory - Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category Qualifications : - Graduation/Post Graduation from a reputed institute - Proven experience as category manager or similar role - Knowledge of products associated with Mother Care &amp; Wellness - Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles - Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods - Proficient in MS Office - Excellent communication and people management skills About the Company: At Tjori, our aim is to to bring the world a little closer.
