The Role:

The Talent Management Lead directs and manages all activities that relate to performance management, identification and development of key talent and succession planning, to directly impact the organization's success.

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Partner with line and corporate leadership to identify and develop talent management strategies, identify gaps, and plan processes to support business initiatives.

- Craft an effective potential assessment and review process.

- Create high-potential management and development programs that align with long-range business strategies.

- Own and manage for the performance management process for Titan.

- Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the performance management process and liaison with other HR teams to ensure adherence to processes.

- Process owner for the post-induction career management of all employees at managerial levels.

- Work with the talent acquisition and HR business partner teams to improve the effectiveness of the internal mobility process.

- Work with senior business leaders to identify key talent and create succession plans

- Deploy and lead an effective succession planning process

- Oversee strategies to accelerate development of key talent and successor candidates by working with the L&D and HR business partner teams.

- Ensure that talent management and succession plans are fair and transparent and adhere to the organization's Ethical Standards, Affirmative Action (AA) and Gender Diversity goals

- Responsible for talent management budgets and metrics like successor coverage ratio

Key Competencies:

- Ability to coordinate people and resources

- Ability to establish trust and a reputation for discretion, sound judgment and advice

- Capacity to effectively initiate relationships and build rapport with senior leadership

- Skill in critical and creative thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems

- Skill in strategic planning

- Skill in written and oral communication, including persuasive negotiation skills

Education and Experience :

- Masters degree in business, organizational behavior, HR management, or related field preferred
7-15 years HR experience; with experience in talent acquisition, talent development and business partner roles preferred
