Program Manager- Wearables - Watches & Accessories - L5/L6

Role description:

To manage and deliver multiple technology projects undertaken by the watches division. To explore existing and new possibilities respectively in the space of wearable technology for the watches and accessories division.

Typical tasks/ work profile:

Program Management:

- Delivering projects on time for respective brands.

- Coordinating with our technology partners for both hardware and software completion

- Coordinating with the UI/UX team for finalizing the App flow & the App visual design

- Coordinating with the App prototyping agency to ensure delivery of a prototype which is as close to the actual App within the stipulated lead time.

- Coordinate with NPD to ensure that the product meets the cost targets.

- Responsible for on time handover of Beta samples to the GTM team for testing

- Exploring Opportunities: Scanning the industry landscape and developed market consumer trends and map with the relevance of each of our brands to create new products either through our existing partners or new alliances

- Build / co create product briefs and innovative use case scenarios of existing technologies.

- Evolve product concepts while engaging with internal / external product development teams collaboratively.

- Managing any collaboration / project with partners. This would include executing partnership agreements along with our legal and commercial teams

- Anchoring reviews with all stakeholders for the projects handled

Key deliverables:

- Developing and launching multiple products for individual brands as per the Product Plan.

- Meeting key metrics like On time Launch, Sales Target, Sell through, Market Share for each project

- Leveraging existing partnerships & platforms to build new & Differentiated

- Closing multiple legal agreements along with our legal team

- Multiple level coordination required between brand, technology partners, legal, NPD and sales

Profile:

An MBA/ E&C Engineer with 5-6 yrs. of work experience with core experience in project management. A person who understands technology trends, product details, pricing, sales and good at handling relationships would be an ideal candidate for this role. Technical expertise would be preferred. Some of the key attributes would include the following:

- Understands the process of product development & can get into the details of critical components

- Inquisitive & curious about consumer trends & aspirations.

- High on the initiative

- Excited by technology and uses gadgets / gizmos. Hopefully an early adopter him/her-self

- Basic understanding on hardware, firmware of embedded systems is a plus.

- Seeks to sell his ideas in a persuasive manner

- Partnering approach - ability to connect / collaborate with people with a willingness to learn.
