Titan - Plant HR Manager (5-8 yrs)

Job Role: Plant HR Manager

Location: Hosur

Reporting to: Plant HR Head

Job Details :

To administer HR services in the Hosur unit for the non-unionized staff by overseeing implementation of HR process as per the HR strategy. Ensure harmonious employee relations for the non-unionized employees in the unit.

Deliverables :

HR : Business Partnering : AOP & Manpower Planning

1. Liaison with the individual unit heads to determine manpower requirements for the unit

2. Consolidate the manpower numbers for the Plant for review and approval from senior stakeholders

3. Collaborate with the HRBP, Corporate & C&B team to finalize the manpower numbers based on the leadership team's directions

HR : Business Partnering : Recruitment & Selection

1. Liaison with the corporate campus relations team for identification of campuses and recruitment of Trainee cadre as per plan

2. Deploy the sourcing strategy & channel for lateral recruitments; review campuses for sourcing trainee candidates

3. Facilitate selection, on-boarding & induction of all external hires as per the defined procedures

HR : Business Partnering : L&D, Career and Succession Planning

1. Ensure execution of talent processes such as Talent Reviews, Potential Assessment & Calibration etc. in the unit

2. Facilitate identification of critical positions and succession plans based on talent review discussion

3. Ensure that employees- IDPs are aligned to the business needs

4. Work with the L&D team to facilitate completion of IDPs

5. Work with department heads to facilitate development & role movements for employees

HR : Business Partnering : Performance Management

1. Ensure that goal setting process and review is completed within the timelines as per the prescribed guidelines

2. Conduct the goal labs with the business to ensure the cascading of the business score card ensuring horizontal and vertical alignment

3. Facilitate appropriate level of calibration meeting with the stakeholders to ensure alignment to prescribed guidelines

4. Coach managers on goal setting, feedback, review, rating, etc. to ensure the conduct of high impact performance management

5. Ensure implementation of processes like PIP & CIP for identified employees

HR : Business Partnering : Employee Relations

1. Connect with employees to identify and manage any grievances appropriately as per guidelines

2. Drive engagement through customized action planning basis engagement scores

3. Ensure the R&R policy is adhered to as per the guidelines and the employees are rewarded for defined parameters

4. Undertake disciplinary actions in consultation with senior stakeholders and implement the same as per the prescribed guidelines

5. Undertake employee exit conversations if required to retain employee / understand the cause of exit and recommend appropriate actions in case of any relevant findings

Desired skills:

1) Exposure in manufacturing environments will be preferred and advantageous.

2) Good Excel skills and PowerPoint skills is a hygiene requirement.

3) Should have experience in any ERP platforms

4) Proficiency in Tamil is must
