Marketing : Brand Management : Market research & Annual Operating Plan

1. Own and lead the - Traditional- agenda with the category and retail team. - Traditional- platform defines the core of the jewellery category, and sets the task for Tanishq to gain share from competition.

2. Develop a robust Consumer / Category / Competition understanding to craft a differentiated proposition for Tanishq across a diversified consumer segments in order to aggressively gain share from local and other regional competitors

3. Brief merchandising & design on the potential category mix that would drive consumer penetration of the category

4. Brief the agencies on the business plan for the year to co-develop the annual marketing plan for the category aligned to the business goals

5. Develop a strong marketing calendar for studded in conjunction with the Brand Calendar, and present it for approvals

6. Implement the calendar with rigour and finesse on the approved budget

- Inputs for mid to long term strategy

Marketing : Brand Management : Brand Planning & Execution

1. Lead the brand commentary in the category and build a strong proposition for the brand that builds aspiration and accessibility

2. Review/Create the branding brief for each campaign developed by the team and execute with a network of partners (Creative, Digital, PR, CRM, Media Research) on the brand plan based on the annual operating calendar

Marketing : Brand Management : Performance Monitoring

1. Monitor the performance of the branding initiatives / campaigns periodically and recommend necessary course corrections if mandated

2. Review the evaluation of the vendors / agencies basis their performance and recommend appropriate actions

- Performance evaluation of initiatives and vendors

- Course correction

- Performance against the statement of work

- Achievement of targets

Marketing : Lead the CRM agenda for the brand

1. Design the CRM strategy on the brand and build strong acquisition / retention models with Analytics.

2. Create the communication strategy / Cohort strategy that build a strong relationship with the brand at N=1

3. Experiment, evaluate and build learnings on across campaigns and segments of consumer that strengthens the overall understanding of the Tanishq consumer base

- Performance evaluation of initiatives and vendors

- Course correction

- Performance against the statement of work

- Achievement of targets

Marketing : Vendor Identification and management

1. Finalise on the identified vendors basis their offerings, capabilities to partner with the firm

2. Negotiate with the vendors on the rates within the recommended price range & empanel the vendors as per the recommended guidelines

3. Periodically evaluate the vendor on the performance against the agreed statement of work for and determine contract renewal / continuation decisions

- Vendor identification and selection

- Vendor performance management & action planning

- Adherence to guidelines and timelines

- Performance of vendors vis a vis the agreed SOW

- Achievement of targets
