Titan - Head - Modern Trade (10-14 yrs)
Scope of the role :
- Develop end to end sales strategy and set up the network of distribution across the modern trade channel
- Explore new chains and set up partnerships for Business growth
Job Profile :
- Explore new opportunities and develop plans for growth in the modern trade segment pan-India - each region/city/or town in coordination with Distributor's local management
- Manage modern trade key accounts business for local and national retail chains
- Prepare Business Plan with Key Accounts to set the Account wise objective for the current financial year and drive initiatives to achieve the same
- Review performance with Chains/accounts on quarterly basis to analyze trajectory of growth and take necessary steps as needed
- Align internal marketing calendars of Promotions, Activations and New Product introduction with the chains and ensure implementation through Sales Team
- Align with the Brand Managers to ensure our brand standards and initiatives are implemented in all Modern trade accounts
- Develop in-store visibility plans in coordination with local Distributor's management; and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation.
- Evolve the right structure for the sales organization. Manage sales team in the field to drive the Modern Trade pan - India
Key Deliverables :

- Modern Trade Distributor - Appointment and ROI
- Mapping of competition and market share in various chains
- Management of channel payouts, Sales GC
- Space management in chains
The right person (Education, experience, other details, if any) :
- 10-14 years minimum Sales experience in FMCG
- At least 5 years of experience in modern trade
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
- Willing to travel at least 10 days in a month
