Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of offering documents for debt and equity issuances, ensuring compliance with Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and relevant capital market laws.
- Conduct due diligence and market research to support transaction execution.
- Liaise with market intermediaries (investment banks, underwriters) and regulatory bodies throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Manage deal timelines and ensure adherence to strict deadlines.
- Prepare presentations and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the capital markets.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Master of Law (LLM) in Corporate Law or equivalent degree.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field (for experienced candidates) or strong academic background and internship experience (for fresh graduates).
- Strong understanding of the Indian capital markets, including debt and equity financing instruments, regulatory framework (Companies Act, SEBI regulations), and documentation requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Superior drafting, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
