Qualification: LL.B (from a reputed institute)

Reporting to: Head Legal

JOB DESCRIPTION
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Should have excellent legal drafting abilities. Shall be responsible for:
- Drafting and vetting of various transactional documents and agreements such as License Agreements, Concession Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding, Letter Of Intent, Letter of Award, H.R & Marketing Agreements, Sales & Admin agreements, Operations & Maintenance Agreement, Lease Deeds, Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreement etc.
- Contract negotiation and closure.
LITIGATION MANAGEMENT
Decent experience of handling the variety of civil and criminal cases including arbitration matters. Shall be responsible for:
1. Managing litigation for and against the company;
2. Drafting para-wise comments, plaints, statement of claims, counterclaims, complaints, writs, counter affidavit, special leave petitions etc;
3. Drafting legal notice and reply to legal notice;
4. Keeping track of litigations of the Company and taking timely steps to protect the interests of the Company;
5. Coordination with external counsels for sending legal notice & handling court cases;
6. Briefing senior counsels in critical matters.
ACQUISITION SUPPORT
Should have good experience of handling tenders.
Shall be responsible for: -
- Due Diligence, sorting legal issues and doing legal risks analysis;
- Evaluation of Expression of Interest; Request for Quote (RFQ); Request for Proposal (RFP); Draft Agreements etc.
COMPLIANCE
- Should be responsible for ensuring compliance of all the court cases besides other legal & regulatory and documentary requirements;
- Supporting the team in compliance required as per companies law.
LEGAL RESEARCH & OPINION
1. Should be well versed with :
- latest amendments/revision in Substantive Laws, Rules & Regulations;
- landmark judgments etc.
2. Should be responsible for providing a periodic update on the changing legal and regulatory environment and latest judgments.
3. Should proactively assist the business teams by providing timely legal solutions.
Candidate having CS (Company Secretary) qualification and experience in Secretarial Work may be given preference.
