Times Group - Regional HR Manager (6-8 yrs)
Primary responsibility:
Recruitment:
- Participate actively in business meetings and understand business requirements to recruit appropriately
- Recruit through the most cost effective sources
Employee Induction:
- Design and implement induction programs for all new recruits
- Obtain induction feedback from all new recruits
Employee engagement:
- Ensure one engagement activity happens in each station every month and cover every station by one dialogue visit every quarter
- Manage the employee recognition schemes independently for the region
- Correspond with employees for payroll/policy related queries.
- Coordinate across all station admin resources for regular updating and maintenance of leave & attendance records
- Assist in salary revisions after increments
- Collate of all appraisal information
Employee Records:
- Maintain employee compensation database for South Region
- Keep a track of changes in compensation due to transfer and promotion of team members
- Adhere to compliance related matters for the region as per the standards set
Team Management:
- Monitor, coach and mentor team member to ensure high levels of competence in the team
- Spend time with team member in giving feedback on the performance and also in resolving issues / conflicts
- Monitoring all reports sent by team member
- Maintain strong relationships with recruitment consultants
Other responsibility:
- Manage training related logistics
- Manage internal audit interface on HR audits
- Lend a helping hand in all other HR initiatives as and when necessary
- Assist in following up for appraisals (quarterly and annual)
