Sales Manager II. JOB PURPOSE: Preparation and execution of sales for the category assigned; Maintaining key account relationships and increasing he yield from exiting accounts; business development by tapping new clients with the objective of achieving revenue targets as per plan and ensuring sustained growth for OMS business. III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Would be responsible for: - Plan effectively for achieving assigned targets, provide revenue projections, report sales target achievement on daily basis - Business development -follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity, building network of potential newer clients, understand business requirements and propose solutions in sync with the client's objectives - Ideate in consultation with the Group / Branch head for new thoughts towards client servicing and revenue generations - Initiate regular interactions with key business partners; give after sales service, increase revenue from existing accounts, ensure complete understanding of client brief and client requirements - Monitoring competitor's activities, map the market via field activity - Maintain strong relations with important media planners / agencies to keep track of major publicity events being organized by clients - Follow up and closure of sales with editorial team and completion of approval process - Audit the quality of content being sent for publishing - Confirm final deliverables to the client and secure RO/ payment from the client. - Undertake execution of assignment in light of the defined mandates given by the client and as per brand guidelines, escalate issues on time leadership which are hindrances to execution of sales - Prepare a variety of status reports as allocated - Other duties as assigned IV. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Measurable Deliverables: 1. Sales: Achievement % 80% Weight-age 2. Futuristic/New Initiative: New initiatives and addition of new customers 15% Weight-age 3. Operational: Reduction in DSO's / Value of doubtful debts & Make goods 5% Weight-age V. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications: A high caliber MBA Functional / Technical Competencies: Sales Execution - Brand Management - Adds Value to Customer Businesses - Process Adherence Behavioural Competencies: Demonstration of Initiative - Results Focus - Supporting and Managing Change - Passion for Selling - Excellent communication skills and overall presentation Specific experience: - Exposure to Sales, target achievement - Experience in handling clients in the Corporate category (Art & Fashion, Luxury, Consumer durables & Automobiles, Consumer soft, IT & Telecom etc.) OR Experience in handling clients in Retail category (Retail chains, restaurant chains, Travel & Tourism, Jewellery / Fashion / Furniture chains, - Overall experience 2-6 years Experience in client servicing / revenue generation / marketing in a reputed sales organisation or also advertising agency / PR concern. - Preference would be a person from media sales with more orientation towards concept selling than pure space selling
