Job Title : Operation and Mail room head - Mumbai

Location : Mumbai

RMD - Results and Market Development represents the circulation arm of the organisation. The RMD department includes generating Sales and increasing readership for BCCL Publications The function begins from mail room packing and dispatch right up to delivering the newspaper to the reader. It is responsible for enabling more and better audience aggregation and for driving newer revenue streams from reader engagement. This is done by reaching out to different segments and expanding the horizons onto new ventures.

1) Planning and Organizing packing and dispatch of Dailies and Magazines daily from kandivli and Airoli Press, Approx.( 17 lakhs copies inclusive of main and supplements daily) on time.

2) Co ordination with other departments (Production/Response/B &C, Plant Head ) for the smooth functioning of RMD mail room Operations.

3) Implementation of all important response innovations, special service to core sectors like Airport/Railways/Hotels etc

4) Responsible for cost saving initiatives in labour and packing materials etc.

5) Preparation and control of Cost Budget related to Mail room - Rs 4 Cr yearly

6) Managing the accounts related to freight/Labour approx. 9 cr yearly

7) Managing the stock of Publicity items/gift items and dispatch of the same as and when require sales Team

8) Managing a large work force of casual labour approx. 60 persons (kandivli/airoli in 3 shifts)

Salary Offered : 30 - 32 LPA
