About the role : Carry out procurement and delivery of goods & services within theBroadcastEquipmentvertical-Television&Radio umbrella, across BCCL & group companies, develop and sustain vendor relationships, monitor delivery on key projects; negotiate best price points via market intelligence and competitor analysis with the objective of meeting customer expectations on quality and schedule within stipulated budgetary requirements. Job Size - Financial- Budget; Non-Financial - Vendors Areas of Responsibility : A. Vendor Negotiation & Engagement: Obtain necessary inputs from the technical user group; float request for quote (RFQs), carry out commercial discussions with vendors, benchmark techno-commercial requirements internally and externally; carry out price correction if required, seek necessary internal approvals; close terms and conditions with vendors; engage with potential vendors at regular intervals in order to maximize value creation for the organization. B. Contract Management: Consolidate requirements for the annual negotiations; conduct the negotiation with vendors, consolidate spread across small business orders into large business chunks in order to maximize the value creation for organization. C. Market benchmarking & Intelligence: Gather information on the market trends and current market price points; create information repository & share the latest insights with the management, use the market benchmarks of other large organizations in order to improve current price points. D. Special Projects & Initiatives: Identify opportunities within BCCL for new initiatives, support Business & Commercial team for executing special projects based on requirement and IT/telecom aspects of the projects in order to deliver on time as per stipulated budget and quality norms. E. Logistics & Service Continuity: Maintain operational synergy with technical users; procure and deliver broadcasting equipments for BCCL & group companies in order to ensure service continuity and meeting customer expectations Education and Experience : Education : Graduation (Engineering /B Com) + MBA from Tier 1 institutes Experience : 2-5 years, with experience in Television/Radio buying
