Position Summary :

- Handle waste Management (Preparing for Tendering Process) and get quarterly approvals for waste generated at Sahibabad Press.

- Handle paper and misc waste (disposal) at 4 locations in NCR.

- Review quarterly waste disposals, plot waste sale trends (rate & quantity), perform MIS reporting of Branch and undertake process improvement initiatives with the objective of meeting the requirement of internal & external waste customers on a timely

- Accounting of stocks in SAP. Carryout physical count monthly and ensure no variance with book stocks. Warehouse management, cross functional working to ensure continuity of operations.

- Ensure compliances for hazardous waste management (storage, disposal & documentation)

- Support branch buyers in WH/ material handling equipment & logistics related spends

1. Interaction with Production depts.(Internal Customers) :

- To understand about the requirements and plan for execution of user requirements etc.

- Service Feedback on quarterly basis

2. Interaction with Finance dept. :

- Co-ordination for payment issues, receipts of payments and invoicing

3. Interaction with Customers :

- Relationship Building with customers to understand the market scenario and gather market intelligence. Develop new customers.

- Manage operational issues e.g daily waste disposal

Areas of Responsibility :

1. Procurement & Sourcing :

Support branch buyers to procure material/services related to Material handling equipment, warehousing, safety related material, and equipment and Logistics requirements

Performance Metrics:

a) Benchmark of prices of competitors

b) Understanding the requirement from users, raise the requisitions. Follow up with buyer to issue the PO

Customer Feedback on Services

2. Waste Management :

Forecast generation of Waste material and undertake contracts with the waste customers, manage risk, building of confidence with waste customers in the waste tender process in order to get the best price for our waste items

Performance Metrics:

- Timely tendering process

- To ensure compliance issues

- To understand the market dynamics and strategize for Increase in realization from last quarters

3. Branch Operations :

- Handle waste management areas in order to bring hygiene in the system, improve productivity and enable effective decision making.

- Ensure daily lifting of waste (paper and other metal, projects related waste)

- Carry out waste management related documentation in SAP.

a) Hygiene factors for cleanliness of in the system

b) The accuracy of information for timely decision making

c) Process improvement initiatives

4. Ensure compliance for Hazardous waste :

Ensure that all compliances are met while handling, storage & disposal of Hazardous waste, chemical waste

- Nil observation on compliance during internal and external audits

- Create pool of waste contractors with compliance model

5. Management Information System

Formulate efficient management information system by devising standardized reports and designing channels of information and documentation system in order to facilitate decision making

Education and Experience :

Graduate - BE/ B Com with PG.

Relevant Experience :

- 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with atleast 3-4 years in Waste Management & Procurement.
