The Chief Marketing Officer will be a part of the core team. S/ he is essentially responsible for helping achieve the vision of the company by devising the overall marketing and user acquisition strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Create and manage marketing personnel under different verticals - Clear focus on branding, customer acquisition and revenue generation - Must have solid experience in B2C Products or companies and candidates from Edtech or Internet companies will be preferred. - Solid experience in Performance and Brand is mandatory. - Actively network and establish professional connections through various means to help grow the organization's business - Work to create associations and strategic alliances to ensure both organic and inorganic growth - Actively liaise with other teams viz product, technical, etc. to help enhance the overall offerings and products and create out of box marketing strategies - Enthusiastic commitment to enabling strong sales growth while taking strong, ethical ownership of the brand About the role: Lead and own User Growth for the organization - Customer Acquisition - drive efficient user acquisition through various channels - Customer Retention - create and drive retention marketing channels. - Product Growth - Drive growth through product levers like referral, conversion improvement Candidate Requirements: - Candidate should have Total work experience of 12+ Yrs. of experience, essentially worked in an e-commerce firm/consumer internet space. - 5+ yrs of proven experience in user acquisition, engagement and app downloads. - Should have the experience of exhibiting leadership capabilities by handling team in the past. - Have the experience of building detailed road-maps for each channel outlining initiatives and milestones to scale them. - Worked with product and engineering teams to leverage technology to build a sustainable competitive advantage over other competitors - Proven knowledge and expertise in online acquisition (search, discovery, programmatic, content) tactics and best practices, including leveraging customer insights to drive growth - In-depth experience with Google and Facebook advertising products.-Data-Driven, Innovative and Proven experience in quantitative & qualitative analysis to justify proposed actions including experience with A/B and multivariate testing.; - Proven experience in SEO/SEM, Performance Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Referral, Display Marketing. - Team Building and Leadership - experience in building and leading teams with digital marketing capabilities. - Excellent communication & presentation skills, Fluent with MS Office, Sales & Marketing skills, Digital Marketing, Business Development, Budgeting, etc. - Extreme passion for the field of education and be willing to work in a dynamic start-up environment
