This is a cross-functional senior leadership position, and you will be a core member of the executive team directly responsible for The Yarn Bazaar's success. Responsibilities: The COO will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic vision to the organization and lead corporate initiatives - Build, develop, and lead Procurement, Sales, Account Management, and Supply Chain Finance verticals - Manage capital investment and expenses aggressively to ensure the company meets its financial targets - Work closely with the product and technology teams in strategizing and leveraging technology to optimise operational processes and drive cost savings - Effectively communicate and foster growth among team members - Proactively develop relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders both internal and external - Manage day-to-day operations at the organization - Assist the CEO in fund raising Skills: - Strong understanding of business functions such as Procurement, Sales, Account Management, and Supply Chain Finance - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment - Excellent critical & strategic thinking capabilities - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as a strong data-driven mindset - Superior decision-making abilities as well as demonstrated managerial and leadership abilities - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills - Extremely detail-oriented and passionate about making an impact & driving results - Strong planning & execution skills and understanding of the regulatory landscape Qualifications: - MBA from a tier-1 business school - Total 10+ years of experience, 2+ years in management consulting or VC firms & 5+ years in operations leadership / executive leadership position, preferably in Start-ups - Proven experience of building and leading a team with a focus on operational excellence - Experience working with product and technology teams
