The WorldGrad - Senior Executive/Assistant Manager - SEO Specialist (4-6 yrs)
Role and Responsibilities:
As the SEO Specialist, you will be responsible to:
1. Manage search engine optimization and other digital marketing activities, efficiently Perform link-building and create keyword strategies to improve site rankings. Analyze Google Analytic, perform SEO activities and create a monthly or weekly report, accordingly
2. Work with the development team to make sure the best SEO practices are executed. Recommend changes on the website to meet SEO standards
3. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and SEO practices
4. Work and get results using SEO tools
5. Perform social media activities to support SEO
6. Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Instagram, Facebook etc.)
7. Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
8. Create content for social media using basic design tools like Canva
9. Maintain the company's brand identity by successfully attaining goals
Required Skills:
1. Proven experience in Search Engine Optimization
2. Excellent understanding of SEO concepts and best practices
3. Experience in creating content and executing the overall content strategy
4. Experience in the education/edtech industry is a plus
5. Hands-on experience with MS/OPEN Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
6. Research-oriented and data-oriented
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Who are we looking for?
1. Qualification: Bachelor's degree from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges. MBA will be considered a plus.
2. Experience: 2 - 4 years of SEO marketing experience (Candidates with marketing experience from an edtech industry and agencies will be preferred.)
3. Smarts: Demonstrated track record of relationship management along with great spoken and written communication skills. Being structured and able to multitask is a must.
Location: Mumbai or Delhi
Working days: Monday to Friday
Joining: Immediate
